How It All Started
Our journey began three decades ago when founder Jacob Townsend recognized a growing need for reliable, high-quality paving services in the Spring Church area. What started as an experienced contractor with a shared vision and a single truck has grown into one of the region’s most respected asphalt contracting companies.
Jacob came from construction backgrounds, but it was his combined expertise in heavy equipment operation and his commitment to doing things the right way that set the foundation for our success. One of our biggest learning moments came during a particularly harsh winter in our fifth year of operation. We had completed several major projects in the fall, and when spring arrived, we discovered that some of our competitors’ work had failed due to poor base preparation and inferior materials. Our projects, however, remained intact. That experience reinforced our commitment to proper preparation, quality materials, and meticulous attention to detail.
We’ve also had to adapt to significant changes in the industry, from new environmental regulations to evolving asphalt technologies.
